An attractive and delectable appetizer that is simple to make is malai broccoli. Broccoli is flavored with cream cheese, cheese, cardamom powder, and garam masala and then cooked in the oven until browned.

Making malai broccoli is a simple and delicious snack for almost any event! In order to roast broccoli to perfection in the oven, it is first covered in a creamy marinade and seasoned with spices like cardamom and garam masala

INGREDIENTS FOR Cheesy Malai Broccoli

  • 500 grams broccoli
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon cashew paste
  • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 Lime /Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  •  salt or to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • ½ Cup Grated Mozzarella

INSTRUCTIONS FOR Cheesy Malai Broccoli

  • Wash the broccoli, then cut it into medium-sized florets.
  • Greek yogurt, fresh cream, ginger garlic paste, salt, and shredded cheese should all be combined in a bowl. Once all the ingredients are well incorporated, whisk well.
  • A tablespoon of oil, 2 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste, lime juice, white pepper, black pepper, cardamom powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 3 teaspoons of garam masala is also added.
  • Broccoli florets should be added to the bowl. Toss the florets in the marinade until they are well covered.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Turn on the oven at 425 F. Put the florets in a row on a baking pan. 15 to 20 minutes of baking at 425 F.
  • Apply some grated mozzarella on top of them and air fry them again on 400 f for 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove them from the oven and enjoy.
  • Serve it with your favorite sauce, whether it be green sauce, chili sauce, or another one.

NOTES

  • Instead of using mozzarella cheese, you can melt cheese slices or cubes and add them to the mixture.
  • Greek yogurt can be substituted with thick, hanging curd.

 

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

The best way to serve Malai Broccoli is as an appetizer with green chutney, tomato ketchup, or mayonnaise.
