  • 2 Black cardamoms (powdered), roasted
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin seeds (powdered), roasted
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (powdered), roasted
  • 4-5 Peppercorns (powdered),
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions for fried chicken

  1. Clean the chicken pieces and place them in a bowl
  2. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, and lime juice. Mix them all together.
  3. Add the spices –  red chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, Vinegar, Gram flour, Cumin seeds (powdered), cardamoms (powdered), Fenugreek seeds (powdered), and Peppercorns (powdered).
  4. Mix well until the chicken pieces are well coated.
  5. You can also mix the marinade ingredients first in the bowl and then add the chicken pieces and mix them together
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.  
  7. Heat the oil in a heavy-based pan.
