Make powder out of 2 cups of cashews. Set aside powder after sieving it. Add 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar to a pan to create sugar syrup with a string consistency.
Add powdered cashews to this and stir until a thick paste is formed. Mix well after adding 2 tbsp ghee and 1 tsp cardamom powder. Put the mixture on a rectangle pan.
Evenly distribute the mixture. Apply silver varq and when warm, slice it into diamond bars. Your Kaju Katli is prepared.
Overnight soak 1 cup of moong dal. After that, without adding any water, mix it into a thick paste. Heat 4 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
Add the dal paste and simmer it on low heat till 5 mins. Use 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to make sugar syrup. Add 1 tsp of cardamom powder.
After well combining, add the syrup to the cooked dal mixture. Cook on low heat until the halwa reaches the desired consistency.
Boil one litre of whole milk. Stir well after adding 1 cup of sugar. Add 1/4 cup of soaked broken rice when the sugar dissolves.
Now, simmer the rice for the desired amount of time on a low heat. Once the kheer has reached the required consistency, decorate with dry nuts and serve warm or cold.
